These ads were created in 1997 for the Academy Education Center (now Academy College). ACE is an anagram for AEC (Academy Education Center). Their strategy was to use the personality of the ACE character to make a lasting impression on the audience. There were actually three of these ads running up to around the year 2000. Many of the students attending the program shared with me that it was seeing these ads that inspired them to come to the Academy Education Center...
This animation was created for a medical product manufacturer to demonstrate the proper procedure for handling the Heart Valve. Critical to this animation was seeing the detail of the Heart Valve and the tightening wrench being manipulated by the fingers.
“Skyweb Express”, was a startup company attempting to develop a unique new method of mass transportation that would combine the personal quality of a small “taxi” like ride with the mass transportation quality normally associated with light rail and needed an animation created. The major feature that make the PRT process so unique is that it utilized a 16 foot elevated guideway that looked similar to the monorail at Disneyland. My animation was used to help that audience get a preview of what such a system might look like, and how it might actually work.
For this client from New York State an animation was needed for demonstrating a concept. We had never met, but he saw my work on the web site and called me up and asked me to provide him with an animation that would promote a product that he wanted to patent. The product was a Charging Case for a iPhone 5 smartphone. He was preparing a website to promote the the Plugin Charger, and wanted an animation to demonstrate how the charger would plug into the wall, plug into the USB on a Laptop and how to plug into the USB in a car. This project required the use of three important Software products that I use: Solidworks for precise mechanical solid models, 3DS Mac for advanced 3d animation, and Premiere Pro for advanced video editing. All of the production communication for this project was conducted by telephone or email.
